The Yiosun Plateau is a land of rain. Its surface is often muddy due to the large amounts of rain it gets, coming from the Despenhar Sea, which lies to the west of Yiosun Plateau. Large boulders are scattered across the eastern side, which tumbled down from the Vormund Mountain. In the spring there is constant, light rain, in the summer there less rain and slightly hot, in the fall there are often rainstorms, and in the winter there is a bit of snow in the eastern foothills, wet in the other areas of the plateau.
